Official Twitter of Jump J-Books, which also belongs to Shueisha, has revealed Chainsaw Man is being adapted into a novel. The novel, called Chainsaw Man: Buddy Stories, will be released in Japan on November 4.

The novel will be inclusive of 3 stories that are not showed in original manga, each story is about friendship topic. The story is about the corporation of Power, Denji, Kishibe, Quanxi, Himeno and Aki when they first met.
Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man manga was being published for the first time in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in December 2018.
It then gained a huge popularity, with more than 9.3 millions opies released as of March 2021. Additionally, it recently topped Barnes and Noble’s bestseller list. An anime adaptation for the series has also been confirmed by Studio MAPPA.
