The popular anime series in this summer – The Case Study of Vanitas (Vanitasu no Karute) – has officially been set to release season 2. The sequel to the series will be broadcast in January 2022. The first season of the anime has ended on September 17, 2021, with a total of 12 episodes.
In addition, the show’s official Twitter account also announced that the voice actress for Chloe, the new character appearing in episode 12, is Rie Kugimiya.
The Case Study of Vanitas (Vanitasu no Karute) is a manga series written by Jun Mochizuki. Published by Square Enix in December 2015 and currently has 9 volumes.
The story is about rumors about Vanitas’ book in Paris, a dubious grimoire, draw the attention of Noe, a young vampire seeking salvation for a friend. What awaited him here, however, was not hours of walking on sidewalks or scouring dusty bookstores to search for the book. Instead, the information he is looking for, belonged to a man who claims to be a vampire doctor.
