The official Twin Engine website announced the first promotional video for the original Bucchigire! (Shine On! Bakumatsu Boys). In addition to the promotional video, the official visual for the project and the cast were also announced. The project will be broadcast on July 8 this year.
The newly announced cast includes:
Tetsuo Hirakawa will direct the project at Geno Studio , and will also serve as script supervisor. Meanwhile, Shaman King’s writer – Hiroyuki Takei will design characters, and Masafumi Yokota is in charge of the animation.

The story is set in an era when samurai ruled Japan. However, the Shinsengumi police force was wiped out by an unknown enemy. Seven criminals have been chosen as replacements for the Shinsengumi. To ensure law and order in Kyoto, a top-secret surrogate operation is initiated.
